Same Day Registration
Residents can register to vote at their Polling Place on Election Day. Those who participate in Same Day Registration and Voting must cast their ballots at the same time they register.
Required Identification
In order to REGISTER TO VOTE, two forms of identification are required, one of which must show the voter’s current address. Acceptable forms of Identification include: Driver’s License, State ID Card, Utility Bill, Checkbook, Library Card, Credit Card, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Employee ID Card, Student ID Card, Insurance Card.
To Vote In Illinois:
You must be a United States Citizen. You must be 17 years old on or before the date of the Primary Election and turn 18 on or before the date of the General or Consolidated Election.
